Since opening the CNS Clinic at QEYC, both Pat and Steve have helped athletes of all ages and abilities return to the sports field after injuring themselves.
It was through Dr Pat's involvement in the Bay's sporting community that he saw the opportunity to promote and reward sporting achievements that may have otherwise gone unrecognised. After a lot of hard work Dr Pat's idea became reality and he launched The CNS Clinic Sportsperson of the Week in the Bay News in 2008.
The team at the Bay News has continued it's fantastic support in profiling a weekly sporting achievement with one of the weekly winners claiming the ultimate CNS Clinic Sportsperson of the Season winner prize pack.
To date there have been over 100 athletes profiled, with the CNS Clinic Sportsperson of the Season winners taking home over $7500 in prizes!
